Time of Writing: 9:10 PM.

Weather: Post-snow cold.

Mood: Nervous.

Day Overview: Going to try and make this one quick because I have to make half a laptop charge last over the next 36 hours, no small feat. Woke up on time today and piled my stuff in the car to travel to my university, but like a fool I forgot my laptop charger at home. Tried to borrow my friend Spencer's laptop charger but it's made for a different model Asus laptop so it didn't work. I even went to Target in a neighboring town and I didn't think about the laptop charger at all, because I didn't know it was missing. Grabbed some snacks, a mat for my wet boots to dry on, some deodorant and a pair of comfy sweatpants, though. I'm going to have to make do with some other forms of entertainment than sitting around on the computer all day, I supposed, which is probably a good thing. Managed to borrow textbooks for the semester from my friends Spencer and Via, and my friend Jess gave me a belated holiday present of a portable radio, which I greatly appreciate. It was fun playing pool with them and Dev, Jess' boyfriend, for the first time in a few months. Via's nextdoor neighbor Charlie stopped by too, they're friends from high school. The food here is so good and I missed it so much this past month, but I have to be really careful to not each too much since I don't have marching band and I'm not going to be active unless I go out of the way to go to the gym. I don't have a gym bag though. So I'm just going to loaf around, and try to skip meals here and there so I don't balloon.

On My Mind: Not much other than how powerless I feel without a laptop charger. I ordered one online and it should be here on Tuesday, the first day of classes for the new semester. I hope that I can get it in time for my class, and that it works. Please, I really hope it works.

Consumed:

Produced: Nothing because I don't want to waste power. I cobbled together a playlist for the drive over, which you can listen to on Spotify if you'd like.

Other Thoughts: I apologize for the brevity of this entry and likely tomorrow's as well. Thank you for reading, hopefully by Tuesday night I will again be fully operational.
